CWAM awareness night

IN OUR OWN BACKYARD promises to be a gritty, truthful and eye popping evening for anyone unaware of the magnitude of the problem of addictions in Hamilton and area - and how it affects families working and living in Steeltown.

Mayor Larry DiIanni and Mrs. Janet DiIanni will be joined by Jason Farr, Charlie Chiarelli, Sharon Musgrave, Stella Woock and many others, as they read poems and testimonials written by addicts or former addicts in active recovery.

Funds from the evening will support a Come Walk A Mile Addiction Services 24 Hour Crisis Line, program development and the Peter Wenk Transportation Fund, a fund that provides taxi vouchers for those in need of transportation to detox.
